Picking up a late story MacUser (here) are reporting on a FT article from 23 December (here) where O2 CEO Matthew Key talks about projected iPhone sales to Jan 08 …
Interestingly Key says that iPhone users are averaging 25MB of web pages, media content and email each month, while just a fraction (1.8%) of O2 customers using traditional mobile phones access that much data - also O2 is only measuring this data transferred through its own network - it does not measure Wi-Fi use … another interesting point to note is that over half of iPhone users (65%) are new O2 customers …
